Jesus

I've been teaching the 2s and 3s in Sunday school for a few weeks. This week we talked about Jesus ascending into the sky, up into the clouds, and going to Heaven. Richard helped me attach some fishing line into the ceiling tiles and I taped a little Jesus onto the line and made him go "up" into Heaven. They loved it and pointed to him the entire class time.

We also blew bubbles outside and watched several of them go over the building. It was a BEAUTIFUL blue sky day with the fluffiest clouds. A great teaching point for sure!

Tonight at church I asked the sweetest little girl from my class if she had told her mom and dad what we learned about this morning. Her dad piped in, "Yeah, Jesus and cotton balls." I laughed and laughed.
