Singing at School

Erin loves choir. No surprise. The girl has been singing since before she talked and has a pretty good ear for pitch and such. This was her first year in junior high choir and the teachers have taught her a lot to make her enjoy it even more.

This is the end of the year concert...E had a solo in one of the Lion King songs. I love it that the teachers let them add motions and movement to their songs now. I mean, you're going to lose kids if you don't make it a little fun.

Here's Erin and Syd. I'm so thankful for a new precious friend that lives in the neighborhood. I'm hoping the girls can keep each other busy and out of trouble and occupied in worthy pursuits throughout the long hot summer. A mom can dream, can't she?
