Family

Last night we had the first of three home visits on our way to being open for adoption. It's crazy because no one really thinks we're going to do this. And I can't see how we can't do it.

We know it isn't possible right now, but we are super thrilled to be getting available for the children we need in our family. My kids didn't say one negative thing yesterday when we were cleaning up. I haven't seen them come together like they did last night in awhile. We all know it's our calling to have some more kids, we want the challenge and we want the love we have for each other to be multiplied.

We have a huge desire to be a multi-cultural family. I don't even know if that's the correct term, but color just isn't an issue with any of us and we'd like the chance to show that everyday.

It's going to take several big things happening for it to work out right now. We don't have the room for a couple of boys, and that's where we think we're heading. So, we need an additional room or a new home, and those things just aren't in our future as we see it. It's going to be a miracle when it happens and I can't wait to have a front row seat.
