I'm not talking about the upcoming election. I have lost my voice! This is a particularly difficult predicament for someone like me to be in. I just thought I had lost it on Monday, when I chose not to teach. NOW, after going to school today...I REALLY can't speak. I'm sure there's a blessing in it somewhere, after all, I am the daughter of the KING. I will have to spend some time with Him to see the light on this one.
I've blown my nose so much I have a red ring under my nostrils. This should be a great addition to our church directory...when we have our family picture made tomorrow!
FYI: My husband hardly ever blows his nose. Why is that? He ended up with a nose-blowing, Kleenex-using wife! It can be embarrassing at times. I remember specifically when my dad told me that someday someone wouldn't be too impressed with my nose blowing and may not be attracted to it at all. Well, I'm certainly glad I kept it quiet until Richard and I were married!
SPEAKING OF FAMILY PICTURES: I've never been good at picking out clothes for the 6 of us to wear in a picture.
First, we don't have things that would blend with our living room color scheme, where a nice picture might be hung. (I always heard that was a good idea)
Second, I can't ever decide what season of clothes to wear. For example: tomorrow it's supposed to be 70, but we only have our winter clothes out. And the directory will be around for a good 5 years.
Third, in a family our size, one of the six of us isn't going to be happy in something chosen for them. It can cause problems with happy faces, if you know what I mean.
Fourth, should we dress up?
Fifth, do we have to look "alike" in season and/or color?
Am I over-analyzing? Keep in mind, we've never had a family picture I really liked...except for a black and white one from Christmas, 2006.
EXCUSE MY RANTINGS...IT'S A BUBBLE BATH DAY!
