We're going to Florida with Richard's family. His parents have rented a house that sleeps 13! Crazy thing is...there will be 13 of us! My kids will miss some school and that includes two field trips for Erin. I assured her she wouldn't even be thinking of them while swimming in the ocean.
The Weather Channel says it will be 83-87 degrees where we're going. I'm excited about everything but the thought of being in a swimsuit in a public place. That's my thing, and I had that same thought when I was a teen and in great shape.
So...I'm working on capturing the thoughts that make me think about staying inside and avoiding the whole scene and replacing them with a fun mom and wife who like to be outside making sand castles, taking pictures and swimming with the fish!
Oh, and I love to get a tan too!
Just a side note: Richard and I have been going to the gym for almost three months now! He goes 5-6 times every week. I go 4-5 times a week. Today I have on capris that wouldn't fit in December. Hooray!
