The girls and I went north to be witnesses to cousin/niece Meredith's baptism. What a sweet event - to see the faith of a child expressed in this way. At our church we stand and clap when someone gets baptized. Some might think that's over the top, but really, we shall celebrate and not hold back. Fortunately, my girls know that all churches don't hold to this practice, so they kept seated along with everyone else in the sanctuary! Whew! I had forgotten to tell Sheridan, so I'm glad she kept her seat.
