Our different AWANA groups have special days during the year, and two weeks ago I got to take Sheridan to the zoo with some other parents and their K-2nd graders. It was a beautiful day and I was glad to get the chance to visit with another mom on the way to LR.
We must've gotten to the zoo at naptime, because LOTS of the animals were resting and this tiger took a stretch, and then went back to the shade of the cave for a nap.
This guy showed out a bit for us.

Aren't these beautiful girls? Sheridan has/is experiencing the loss of two friends who have/are moving this year. It's a tough thing for a Kindergartner. There are about 6 girls in S's Sunday School class and 1 boy. These are two sweeties!
Anteater - He didn't hold Sheridan's attention like he did mine. What was God thinking on this one? (I mean NO disrespect)
