Busy, busy weekend

Wow! After a thriller on Friday night we headed to the soccer fields bright and early Saturday morning. Actually, at 7am Ryan loaded a bus headed to all-region choir tryouts. This is his first semester ever in choir and he decided to give it a try. He didn't make it, but he did very well, just 8 spots shy of making it as a sophomore.

Back to the soccer fields. Lauren was reffing the Under 8 age group and she had Sheridan's game. Sheridan scored her first goal last week and before the game Saturday she says, "I think I might score another goal today." Well, what a great idea. She did! It was a great morning as the big kids won their game too!
After her goal!

We watched the first half of the Razorback game at our house...and the second at the Burch's. What great friends! We had our perspective music minister, David, with us the whole day. I really like a guy who can cheer for the HOGS even though he was born and raised in California. He was a great sport and I think we may have won him over with our great play!!

Sunday morning was a BIG DEAL as David was leading music in both services. Ryan and I were on the praise team/band and we had to be at church early. WHAT A WONDERFUL MORNING. David led us to worship God and I can truly say the Spirit was in the house! After the service he was approved and he'll start in a few weeks. Ahhh.
