Christmas Part 3: Colorado

To have friends like the Mays is a blessing that cannot be measured. This was our second time to go to Colorado, share a home with them nestled in the mountains, ski, snowboard, laugh and eat with them. It was even more peaceful and fun than the last time! We did have to drive until 2am one morning, on icy roads, trying to outrun a storm to get there...but it was all the more wonderful to drive up to the house having been through the uncertainty of the roads. Thank you God for these friends and your beautiful creation.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

BEACH PICS

It's always fun to take pictures on the beach. The air is clear, our skin is tanned and everyone is smiling! I found these new tshirts when we took Ryan to orientation at U of A and just had to have them for our picture. The HOGS were playing in Regionals and we watched them in Orange Beach on ESPN. They won the regionals and went to the college World Series in Omaha the next week. It was a good time to be anywhere in an ARKANSAS RAZORBACK tshirt! 

ORANGE BEACH

Our first trip to the Alabama beaches was a success! LOTS of our friends go to Gulf Shores and Orange Beach instead of Florida and we decided to try it. Richard made all our arrangements and we let our three oldest take one friend. It took two cars to pack 9 people and all our bags and beach things. It was wonderful weather, even though the forecast showed rain and thunderstorms for the whole week. We laughed, played, swam, hunted for crabs, built sand castles and dug holes, and got a lot of sun! We are thankful and blessed!
