We have no idea if Lauren will pursue playing her trumpet past high school. She's very gifted with her horn and makes some pretty incredible sounds! This year she has a solo in the marching show and has really carried her part! It's not an easy solo, and she just belts it out!
On Tuesday the band went to their regional marching contest and one of the judges said, ""NICE trumpet solo!! I would stick that sound on Wikipedia to show what a real trumpet solo sounds like!" It's a great compliment and we're so proud of her accomplishments!
